Shrimp Etouffee
  1. Melt butter and sauté onions, peppers and celery for 5 minutes over medium heat
  2. Reduce heat to Low and Add flour and stir constantly for 7 to 10 minutes
  3. Add water/stock, spices and stir to combine evenly
  4. Add shrimp and stir continuously for 10 minutes over medium low heat
  5. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 10 minutes

4.5 tbs GF Flour

2 medium onions

3 large Jalapeños (seeded)

3 celery stalks

 

24 oz. peeled deveined Shrimp

 

1.5 cups of water or stock

 

1 teaspoon Celery Salt

1 teaspoon Sea salt

1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

1 teaspoon ground bay leaf

1 tablespoon Paprika

2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
